MELBOURNE

About 4 years ago, I went to Melbourne Australia on a study abroad program. Melbourne is one of the most liveliest cities i’ve ever been to. The people are so friendly, and most people walk everywhere or take the Tram. I visited Sydney and Tasmania as well and every experience was different and good. People in Melbourne are more chill compared to Sydney. Tasmania has it’s own vibe, there’s a lot of country side. I met some amazing people and we still keep in touch till this date.

RMIT Village
I stayed at RMIT Village and I highly recommend it for anyone going on a study abroad program. They have so many fun activities for students.

RMIT VILLAGE
I SPENT MOST OF MY TIME WITH THESE BEAUTIFUL LADIES

St Kilda Beach
This is one of the most famous beaches in Melbourne. It is quite a trip if you live 5 mins from Melbourne Central like I did.

Yarra River
There’s so much history attached to this river before/after European settlement which I won’t go into. Today it is one of the most attractive social scenes in Melbourne.

Queen Victoria’s Market
This is one of the largest open markets in the southern hemisphere. They have fresh and quality products. It is similar to a farmers market if you are from the US. I didn’t take a picture of the market but this pictures were taken at the entrance.

Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium
This is a pretty decent aquarium, they even have penguins.

Brighton Beach
Located in one of Melbourne’s suburbs, it features 82 beach houses or boxes. Whatever you want to call it

Phillip Island
You get a close view of Aussie’s natural wildlife and you get to see penguins.

Brunswick Street
If you are into alternative fashion, cafes, live music etc. Definitely checkout Brunswick street.

Flinders Street Railway Station and The G.
Visit the station if you get a chance. There’s so much to do around the it. Also, catch a game at the G, if you are able to. It is the largest stadium in Australia and the 10th largest in the world. I watched an Australian foot ball game there and I had a good time.

There’s so much to do in Melbourne which I could not capture in one blogpost. The food is AMAZING, there a little coffee shops and artistic things everywhere. Also, most restaurants close for lunch and open again for dinner. The locals are super friendly and they are some of the nicest people i’ve met.
