One thing about being an adult is you have to be smart about spending your money. I’ve been loving my local Dollar Store lately. The things in the dollar store are the same things you would find at any other store especially the name brand items. The difference is they are sometimes smaller and have slightly lower quality.
1. Batteries
I’ve a lot of fake candles, remotes, under the counter lights etc which require lots of batteries. I don’t like spending about 14$ on a pack of batteries frequently, so I go to the dollar store and get the same batteries for 1$. They’ve lasted about as along as the ones I get from any other store.
2. Car Refreshener
If you are like me and just want your car to smell like something nice, get your car refresheners from the dollar store. They last as long as the ones you get from any other store.
3. Dish Cloths
The dish cloths that I’ve gotten from the dollar store have been the same quality like the ones I get from Walmart or Target. My kitchen is neutral toned, so it’s very easy for me to find cloths that match.
4. Lighters
If you love candles like I do, then you probably always need a lighter at home. There’s no difference between the dollar store lighters and other stores.
5. Hand Sanitizers
I’m kind of a germaphobe so I always need hand sanitizers on my keys. I usually get the ones that are not anti-bacterial to prevent antibiotic resistance. Also, the ones at the dollar store are usually prettier.
6. Party Supplies
Do I even need to explain this one? You probably discard most decor after the party, so you might as well save some money
