A couple of weeks ago, my baby brother graduated from high school. My sisters and I didn’t just want to be basic, so we decided that we were going to stand out!
The first step to standing out at an event, is to color coordinate. One of my sisters had already bought her outfit, which made deciding on a color easier, as we just decided to match her. We have a lot of cultural pride in my family, so we decided that my younger brother will wear something African, so my Dad sent his outfit from Cameroon.
The second and final step, is to make it fun. Don’t specify what each person should wear once you have decided on color (for example, don’t say we should all wear dresses, jumpsuits etc) because it is very limiting and each person has a different body shape. Instead, give everyone a choice to pick something which flatters their figure and makes them comfortable.
Try this and I promise you, heads will turn once your crew walks in!
