Our Friendship Journey

Hey everyone!!
I’m super excited about this post, first of all because Scholastica and I share a special bond and it was kinda emotional writing it because we both had to get really personal and connect with our feelings, which we don’t like doing. We came up with the questions and asked each other, so whenever you see Scholastica in this post, know that she is talking about me and vice versa, if that makes sense. 

1. Favorite thing to do together.

Both: Go to Kroger at 2 am looking like hobos to buy Haagen Dazs butter pecan ice cream because it’s our favorite.

2. When did you realize that you wanted to be my friend and when did we become friends

Alieh:So in 2014 we bonded over a common cause (lol) and that’s when I knew we could be friends but after that we didn’t really talk until 2 years later in 2016. That’s when we became friends.

Scholastica: So the first moment was when we bonded over THE common cause, the second time was when we randomly hung out at Trotter and it felt so natural as if we were friends and the third and official time was when I practically started living with you…

3. Have we ever been in an argument or a fight?

Scholastica: Yeah but it was more of a passive aggressive argument because something was bothering you and you weren’t sharing and you kept saying you were fine even though it was clear you weren’t. It was frustrating because I couldn’t support you. I’m actually scared for when we actually fight tho, cuz I don’t know how it might end.

Alieh: Yeah, I have the same answer and I have the same concerns for when we actually verbally fight lol. We’ve never been in like a verbal argument. It’s usually more passive aggressive and we just wait it out.

4. What do you like about our  friendship

Scholastica:I’ve learned how to be a real friend, like allowing you to care about me, checking in, opening up more and being able to talk about my feelings.

Alieh:I’m super private but somehow I can talk to you about anything and be myself 100% around you. You also have this ability of knowing exactly what to say when i’m having a bad day or talking down on myself which automatically switches things around.

5. First Impression of you
Alieh:Definitely the fact that you were super pretty and reserved.

Scholastica:That your style was on fleek and you danced a lot. You were genuinely really nice!!

6. Favorite Memory Together

Both: Definitely Canada, it was just a weird random day and we can’t really explain it.  Also, when we get ice cream together.

7. Anything weird that you think I do?

Alieh: You dance randomly sometimes and then you just continue whatever you were doing as if nothing happened

Scholastica: I’ve never understood how you listen to TV shows instead of watch them as if it’s the radio.

8. What do you think I’m obsessed with?

Scholastica: Pomegranates, you always have like 8 of them and i’ve never understood your obsession with them.

Alieh:Definitely Youtube, you know almost every youtuber and you bond with my sister over it, which makes me jealous sometimes lol.

9. What’s your friend really good at

Alieh:Make up, you’ve never had a bad makeup day since I’ve known you ( Also I’m good at figuring out what outfits go together, but Scholastica better at picturing the entire look)

Scholastica: You are really good at shopping and knowing exactly what outfits go together. You’re also super confident and creative and you really know who you are.

Both: “Do you really do you” and “It is you”

11: A word or phrase that you always say

Alieh:You always say “seriously” and “stop” in a normal conversation, when you’re joking and even when you’re serious.

Scholastica:You always say “like” after every word

12. Describe your friends ideal man

Scholastica:Someone who can challenge you, say NO to you and be spontaneous. Also, someone who is creative so that they can understand you, and you can connect on that together. And, someone who is financially stable because you like to shop and like the finer things in life. Basically someone who has their life together. 

Alieh:Someone who is woke because you have zero tolerance for ignorance and nonsense. Also someone who loves to travel, not just travel but immerse themselves in a culture. Lastly someone who adores you and shows you what true love is, so that you can love them back 100% in return.

13. Which one of us is more optimistic, pessimistic, introverted or extroverted.

Both:It depends on the situation, so it could go either way but Alieh is more extroverted. In general we are both introverts.

14. Who is more annoying?

Both:Alieh (troublesome and likes attention) 

15. What is something your friend could improve on

Scholastica: Definitely talking more about your feelings and effectively communicating, instead of being passive aggressive. Being more direct cuz I can’t read minds!!

Alieh:Just live your best life, stop being  self conscious and caring too much about what other people think.
